How We Work and How to Order (reposted from Facebook)

Welcome to all new friends of A Taste of Paris. I thought I would take a minute and explain how our little cottage bakery works. My name is Jarri and our family has lived here in Harvest in Argyle/Northlake for the last 6 years. I started baking during the pandemic to provide bread for those who couldn't find it at the store, gradually I added more items and A Taste of Paris was born. We have been in operation for the last 5 years.

Our home bakery is run on a preorder basis. All items are made from scratch to order without preservatives. Each week I will have several days where I offer breads and if not working a market will have a Croissant Day (usually Friday) where I will offer croissants for sale without minimums. Preorders are due by Thursday at 8am at the latest. I will make some extras as a safety bake, to ensure I have enough items to fulfill my orders. If anything is left I will put those up for sale on a FCFS basis. Now if I don't have orders for items, I most likely will not make that item. So if you have your heart set on something specific I highly recommend you message and place a preorder. Friday orders are ready by 7am and I will message you bright and early letting you know it's ready for pickup.

Now if you are needing items on day where I am not offering them for sale, that is considered a special order and there are minimums attached, usually a dozen and due to the nature of things I bake, I do need some notice usually a day or two to have dough prepared.

How to order. It's really pretty easy, you can either message me through, Facebook or Instagram. Comment on the sale post Or go to my website, www.atasteofparisinharvest.com and get my contact info to email or call. This year I am switching over to square as a pos system to keep all orders/payments in one place. I am asking for a phone # or email to keep on File,in case Facebook goes down, In order to send invoices or reach you to let you know your order is ready. I promise no spam, I hate those text campaigns and spam emails and I refuse to use that as a marketing tool. As far as payments, I can send you an invoice that you can pay by card or cash ap or you can continue to pay by zelle or venmo. I will just mark the invoice/ticket paid on my end. Or you can pay by Cash at pickup just please let me know that ahead of time. I do ask that all orders are prepaid unless paying by cash. Order pickups are here at my home and address will be given at time of order. I do ask that you pickup in a timely manner. If orders are not picked up by 5pm they will be set out on the porch. If not picked up, they will be donated to my hungry neighbors and no refund given. (When the weather warms up, orders will be kept inside until I know you arriving. If you don't see your order please knock on the door)

Farmers Market Season is beginning in March. I will be doing the Markets here in Harvest as well as returning to the Market at Hilltop Truck Park. I have and will continue to create events on my page to so you can find what weekends we are marketing and where. On those weeks, I will not have a weekly croissant day as I will be busy prepping for the weekend. I will still offer weekly breads and fulfill weekly standing bread orders. Now on off market weeks, I will have a normal schedule where I will have a croissant day that you can preorder for as well as accept special orders. I will also post a weekly schedule every weekend and pin to the top of the Facebook and post in the blog portion of my website where I am and what days I am baking.

I think that is about it, If you read this far you win a gold star. We are still accepting preorders for Friday Croissants see photo below for what I am offering. I am so glad you found us and I am so happy you are choosing to shop Small and local. We'd love to see pictures of your sandwiches or breakfast spreads so don't hesitate to send them to us. We also love your reviews, good or bad. People shop based on recommendations, so if you have thoughts, we'd love you to leave a google or Facebook review. If you have ideas for future offerings please send me a note and I will see what I can do. Please watch for the updated menu this weekend that will go into effect Feb 1st.

Stay warm and again Welcome to A Taste of Paris In Harvest.

Jarri
